There are certainly advantages to quitting your job and running your own business - but there's also a dark side. Lack of extra space is a big issue, and if your particular business requires a lot of equipment and supplies, this can cause problems with your family. What are issues you may face?
1. No professional space. If you don't have a designated office, you're probably running your business from the living room or dining room. This may work for you, but drive your family nuts.
2. Cluttered home. You need storage for your supplies. But like most houses, you may already have stuff in your closets and garage. The family room or living room may serve as a location for supplies, which can clutter your home and make your space feel smaller.
