George would like to extend a special thank you to all of our customers who were willing to donate used furniture to Habitat for Humanity ReStores program over the past month.

We were able to collect over $8,000 worth of furniture and donate it to our local store. For those not familiar with the program -- Habitat for Humanity ReStores are nonprofit home improvement stores and donation centers. They sell new and used furniture, home goods, appliances, home, building materials/supplies and more to the public at a fraction of the retail price.

ReStores are owned and operated by local Habitat for Humanity organizations. All proceeds from the sale of items are used to help build strength, stability, self-reliance and shelter in local communities.

At George, we believe so much in this mission that we have partnered with our local chapter and offer donation retrieval during each of our moves. If our customers are willing, we can set-up a donation day so that we can deliver unwanted furniture, appliances and/or building materials to ReStore.

We are so grateful to be able to partner with this organization and that our customers were so willing to participate last month. We hope to update you with even more donations over the next year.
