I was dreading moving-I have moved fairly often. The crew was great-respectful, efficient and careful with my belongings. The crew was big enough to get the work done in a timely fashion and it couldn't have been easier. Rene called a few days ahead so I knew they hadn't forgotten me. The actual movers were great. Big Jack and his crew did an awesome.job. Very professional go the job done right. But for the sales person not so good. He did not listen to my needs. He claims I said things I did not. But the Big Jack and his crew made up for it. No damages or issues some as silk form Pittsburgh to San Antonio Texas.

I was thankful to George Moving for arranging my move to Louisiana on short notice (about 3 weeks) during a busy season. Debbie was very helpful and prompt during the consultation. On moving day, the team was punctual and efficient and seemed to do a good job of taking inventory and wrapping my belongings when required. I did encounter a few issues after leaving Pittsburgh. My credit card was overcharged for the move initially, and the delivering company informed me that they would be delivering later than the promised window, however both of these issues were resolved with intervention from George Moving management. My furniture arrived mostly in good shape, although a few things were cracked/wobbly/missing screws, etc. Overall, I was satisfied with George Moving for providing service on short notice and working out the issues that arose.

Everything was top notch on George's end. Debbie was very nice and helped to get the most accurate quote and fastest delivery. When the movers came, they were fast and efficient and wrapped a lot of things even more than we had! The movers were also very professional and a stressful day was made less so by their effectiveness. That said, I think that the overall company of North American let George down. George was absolutely first rate, but somewhere between their truck and my new house something was less than well taken care of and some of my boxes looked like something VERY heavy had been put on them - much heavier than anything I'd packed. The other people also broke a piece of furniture which I knew might not make it but which had survived a move before - albeit in a dedicated truck with no warehouses or handovers beyond being taken from my old apartment and brought to the new one. As such, I'm giving George top ranks and I hope that NorthAmerican can live up to their standards in future.

George Moving did an outstanding job moving our family from the Pittsburgh area to Illinois. Our consultant was professional and had no problem changing our quote multiple times to meet our shifting needs. The crew that came out to load the truck was awesome. They all were professional, courteous, and very careful. They were also very quick. Unloading in Illinois was equally fabulous. I would highly recommend George Moving to friends and family.

Paul Skalos, Certified Moving Consultant, did a great job with our in-home estimate. Even though it was summer – the busiest time of year for moving companies - he arrived on time, compiled our estimate in an efficient yet attentive manner, was pleasant, and didn’t use any high-pressure sales tactics. Later, Paul responded to our phone calls/emails faster than I’ve ever seen anyone do (and we had a LOT of questions). I can't say enough about Justin and his crew. They went above and beyond! It was a local move but I was pretty much on my own. There was glitch in communications, and it was to be a two day move, which I was not aware of. In the course of the day Justin had mentioned it, and I said What? Well Justin worked it all out and they got some of my things to my new place, particularly My Bed! Lol. They just worked so hard, I have a few heavy pieces but they were amazing! They all made a time of great stress easier for me. Cudos to Justin and his hard working and professional team! Thank You!
